Over the years, Coastal Flange has developed into a leading manufacturer and distributor of top-quality pipe flanges for heavy industrial applications. Our facilities are conveniently located in Houston, Texas, central to the oil, gas, and petrochemical industry. As a result, we have access to transportation via air, rail, truck, and water to provide our customers with the solutions they need, whenever they need them.
Every year, we ship thousands of flanges, all manufactured to industry standards and at the most competitive prices on the market. Our products are used for oil and petrochemical pipeline systems, connecting vessels in oil and petrochemical refineries, gas pipelines, water works, and water treatment applications.
We offer precision manufactured, standard slip-on, weld-neck, blind, lap joint, threaded, and socket weld flanges with sizes from 12 in. to 200 in. OD. Our expert engineering team can also develop custom flange solutions to fit any application. All flanges are inspected in-house, and we maintain fast turnaround and lead times, sometimes in just days, for our products.

Oil and Gas
We manufacture a variety of flanges used in oil and gas applications to join and separate sections of pipeline, as well as to make secure connections between containment vessels and other equipment. Sectioning out pipelines facilitates access for repairs and maintenance and makes it easier to isolate portions of the system when needed.
Our flanges comply with relevant industry standards, including American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) B16.7 and American National Standards Institute (ANSI) B16.5. These standards apply to characteristics such as:
Allowable tolerances
Pressure-temperature ratings
Markings
Materials
Dimensions
Techniques for designating openings
Flange products frequently used in this industry include standard slip-ons, weld necks, and blinds in stainless steel, carbon, or alloy materials. We can also engineer a custom solution to meet unique requirements. Our products meet a range of pressure ranges, including classes 150, 300, 400, 600, 900, 1500, and 2500.
Petrochemical
Coastal Flange products are also used in natural gas and crude oil systems in the petrochemical industry. Refineries may use a range of flange types in pipelines and equipment that distill chemicals, crude oil, and petroleum gases.
Similar to flanges for oil and gas applications, petrochemical flanges must typically be made from carbon, alloys, or stainless steel and must comply with ASME/ANSI B16.5 standards. Depending on your needs, we can manufacture flat-faced (FF), raised-face (RF), and ring-type joint (RTJ) flanges to work with your application. We also develop flanges to fit the full range of pressure ratings from 150 to 2500.
Waterworks
Water management, distribution, and delivery systems rely on flanges for uninterrupted fluid transfer and the ability to route water to equipment, treatment tanks, and downstream sub-systems.
In addition to ANSI standards, flanges for these applications must comply with American Water Works Association (AWWA) standards, which indicate compliance with the federal Safe Drinking Water Act. These include:
- ANSI/AWWA C207-13 for 4 in. to 144 in. OD steel pipe flanges.
- AWWA C228-19 for 2 in. to 72 in. OD stainless steel flanges.
